The great Rootbeer taste test

A few days ago.. or it seems like weeks, marshall and i decided to find out which root beer tasted the best. We collected 14 different kinds of root beer from right here in our area. we found different kinds from Walmart to the health foods store to the red brick store in Nauvoo. The invitations were a can of rootbeer with a note wrapped around it that said "can" you come.. get it! Anyways.. we pored one ounce into a cup for each person ( with 17 couples that was alot of poring) luckily our sweet friends came over to help with all the poring. Each person went around our ( really small) house and tasted each kind and rated it on a scale.. we also had everyone guess which kind they thought they were drinking and the couple that guessed the most won a prize.
We totalled everyones vote up and the winner was... well just scroll down to the bottom to see!

THe hillside pub- aka our house! and the list of all the different kinds people were drinking. to be honest alot of them turned out to be really gross! I had high hopes i could start drinking organic or diet but.. that idea is gone now.

Chris's flipflops really came in handy when we needed a bottle opener! what genius thought to put them in your shoe!?

The Joseph Smith rootbeer actually ended up being one of the best kinds!
our house was COVERED in rootbeer bottles
 The score cards!
we crammed everyone into our tiny house!
and the winners! such a happy couple! how perfect is it that they tied for first place!
 and the rootbeer winner is.....
A&W
and the moral is.. to be content when you have got a good thing going because it probably is the best anyways. A&W for life :)
Thanks again to everyone for helping, for putting up with our silly ideas and for being great friends on this crazy stage of life!
