Introductions

When i was a little girl i always loved listening to the newly wed couples tell their readers digest love story over the pulpit in sacrament meeting for the first five minutes of their talk. Now my attentive invisible audience its my turn.
Marshall and i met for the first time in April 2009 i thought he was a tall cute smart man and he thought i was an overly peppy freshman. We met for the second first time in at Spring haven in September where i found his teaching, service, poise and unreserved friendliness intriguing. Finally in November he asked me out, (3 times before getting a date), I liked him so much i went to Harry Potter six and he liked me so much he bought me sonic, but then he had to figure things out with his missionary, and after an agonizing thanksgiving he surrendered to me ( or fell in love you could say) The picture above was his 'perfect date' where he finally kissed me. after that we spent everyday together  minus a dozen until he proposed overlooking the ocean at sunset on Catalina Island in April 2010. And the rest is history ( which im sure i'll write later)

To be a Hill

quintessential - representing the most perfect or typical example of a class or subject.

I have been a Hill now for 3 months. On August 14, 2010 I became the 49th member of the Hill clan. Now, that is just immediate family mind you. My husband is the youngest of 9 children who all have between 2 and 5 children of their own. This was quite an adjustment from my family of 7, which I recognize is still quite large to most people outside of Utah. Nonetheless the BIGGER the better right?
Given my family situation I would like to dedicate this blog to updating our large tribe of loved ones as we share our quintessential Hill experiences.
