Ok- here goes, the first of so many blogs that I hope I actually write- mostly for Max boys sake – and for my sometimes fading memory. But I want to document some of our grand adventures from this summer! Starting with.. the first week!

Marshall came with us for the first week, and because both families only got him for a few days.. we were kept so busy there was hardly even a minute to take a picture.. thus.. 2 little iPhone pictures.

But the day Marshall left me for 4 lonely weeks  of Officer training camp I left for my own hill style camping.. at the cabin 

This trip was hard without Marshall- but oh so much a party with my sweet sister in law juli in her awesome new van – just us and our babies for 6 long hours but once we finally got there.. it was a non stop party that words just cant even tell so.. and for the sake of time.. I’ll just share these pictures.

Golfing with the family- and the zoo with nana and grandpas!

 this was max boys first time fishing- he loved every minute of it! he clapped at the perfect time and just loved being with grandpa so much! he wasn't even afraid of the fish- which turned out to be kind of a problem becasue he wanted to hold it so much he grabbed the fish by the face and got the hook stuck in  his hand! i had a crazy mother moment and screamed a bit- but we got it our and he forgot all about it. but it was a great adventure for sure!

 the most beautiful boating trip i think i have ever been on in my whole life! to bad i had no boy to kiss

 night time painting the sunset- ju and I have been waiting years for this moment and it paid off!

It was such a perfect cabin trip! i can't thank you enough for making so fun! lives were changed thats for sure! Being at the cabin is always so refreshing!
