2012 Highlights

Highlights of 2012

Marshall - 26 yrs old

- Was officially sworn into the Army ( we are doing the military scholarship for medical school)
-Graduated from BYU in Exercise Science
-Spent a Summer playing with family
-Got a Mo-ped
-golfed alot with His Parents
-Started Medical school at A.T. Still university in Kirksville MO'
-Became the worlds best dad
- Passed his first quarter with flying colors!
-Played Lots of Basketball


Lisa- 22 yrs old

-Found out we were pregnant just 5 days into the year
-Graduated from BYU in Communication Disorders
-played with family in North Carolina and Georgia ( to meet baby grant)
-put together a home in Kirksville Missouri
-Gave birth to the sweetest little baby
-Flew to San Diego to see sweet friends
-we hosted our first thanksgiving!
-Played at Home with baby just like in all my dreams

Max- 4months old ( at the end of 2012)

-Came into our family finally!
-Learned to Hold his head up
-learned to Smile
-Watched Lots of basketball games happily
-Learned to roll over!
-Went on his first plane ride!
-Had lots of family come in to see him get blessed
- grew lots of hair!

THanks for a great year 2012- 2013 you have alot to live up to!

happy late Valentines day!

I just want to take a minute to announce how madly in love i am! thats what valentines day is for right? Marshall doesn't exactly get as into holidays as I do, but he usually humors me in my over excitement, and my wasted time on Pinterest for cute holiday fun! Valentines day is our 6 month anniversary- that makes me happy because i know we will never forget to celebrate our half year mark- even if it does always turn out a little bit interesting...

I don't think i ever would have thought that just 6 months later we would be getter married!

2011 our first v-day when we were married started off wonderfully.. until my visiting teacher decided she needed to come visiting teaching... at 8pm... and stay for and hour and half.. it made for a great laugh.

2012 I was in the beginning stages of morning sickness.. and i through up our amazing dinner.. all night long :)

2013 this v-day Marshall was so incredibly sick we spent the first 5 hours of the day in the ER... but we were very in love and that is what mattered. marshall even arranged for my best friend here to drop off a box of chocolates, my gerber daisy and a teddy bear :) then we ate soup and crackers and went to bed early.

Regardless I am so grateful for my sweet valentine and our new little man that also melts my heart!

Max Moments

I want to start a little section called Max moments. There are always so many moments I wish I could hold onto for forever with him but I never know where to start with the blog I always want to be able to just throw in a little max moment here and there when they come instead of always worrying about telling a story in order. I realize now this might all be filled with max moments but, thats what I want to remember the most.
Max boy is sick today, or maybe he is just teething but he has been so sweet and cuddly and pretty sleepy. He started sitting up this week, I sit him on my bed because the memory foam sinks his little bum so he has a little extra support. he just sits there looking at his toys and trying to eat them, but anytime I catch his eye he takes everything out of his mouth, or drops his toy and looks up at me and gives me the sweetest one tooth grin that melts my heart and we just spend a minute laughing at each other. There is nothing I would rather do than this.

I feel like this

This little man, is my best buddy. And when you could hang out with someone as good looking as him all day.. naturally your little bloggy is going to get neglected. Never fear tho, we are alive and well and finally back in the swing of things after christmas! Our vacation seemed to last extra long as we came home the second week of january only to go back the last week of january for my dear beautiful friends wedding. 

Now we are back, and as fun as it would be to play catch up.. i think it just might be better to start moving on! I might have to post a little year - REALLY late 2012 year in review because it was such an awesome year! so yeah! this blog is mostly to say, we are back in action! and.. we have missed you :)
